Rules for admission
ELIGIBILITY:
For 1st year: SSC passed
For direct 2nd year:
1) H.S.C. (Science) Technical / Vocational with 35%
2) I.T.I. (2 years) / M.C.V.C. / A.T.S. (Above 60%)
Qualified candidates seeking admission to the
Degree Course shall submit their Application Form complete in all respects,
along with attested copies of the documents, to the Principal. Applications must
reach the Principal before 5.00 p.m. on the last date as declared by University
of Mumbai (The 15th day after the day of declaration of SSC exam result).
Merit list of all applicants registered
will be prepared after due verification of admission forms and put up on the
notice board. A specific date will be mentioned for the shortlisted candidates
to report for detailed scrutiny of their applications. lf the candidate fails to
report, his/her candidature will be considered as null and void and admission
will be offered to the next candidate on the waiting list.
The candidate called for detailed
scrutiny of the application must produce the following certificates in original
along with true copies at the time of scrutiny. In case all the required
relevant original documents are not produced, the candidate will lose his/her
claim for admission and his/her request for extension of the date will not be
entertained under any circumstances.
Documents Required
• CAP Registration copy.
• VII, IX & X Marksheet.
• XII Marksheet (If Applicable )
• School/College Leaving Certificate (Last Exam Appeared)
• Medical Fitness (Format in the form).
• Aadhar Card.
• Photo (Passport size)
• Gap Certificate in case of educational gap.
• Migration certificate for OMS candidates.
For Reserved Category
• Caste Certificate.
• Non-Creamy layer certificate for other than SC/ST.
• Caste Validity.
• Ration Card.
• Income Certificate.
Attestation: Documents should be attested by the principal of the School/College from which the candidate has passed
qualifying examination or Gazette officer or Special Executive Magistrate or Police Inspector or Govt. Hospital Doctor or Head
Master of a secondary school or staff of a Govt. College/Polytechnic not below the rank of Class 11 Gazette officer.
Reservation of Seats: Certain number of seats shall be reserved for the categories like SC-ST-DT/NT-VJ-OBC & SBC as per
Govt. orders issued from time to time. Seats may also be reserved for female candidates and candidates with technical/vocational
subjects in SSC.
Candidates applying under these categories are required to produce Caste Certificate issued by Executive Magistrate or Sub Divisional officer in Maharashtra State.
Payment of fees: Fees are decided by the Shikshan Shukla Samiti (SSS). Students will be required to pay fees every year as per
the dates and timing notified. They should adhere to these dates, failing which admission offered will stand cancelled. Fees will be
accepted in cash/demand draft drawn in favor of
Muchhala Polytechnic.
Refund of fees: In the event of cancellation of admission, fees shall be refunded as per the norms specified/prescribed by D.T.E.
